ePower Motors is an R&D company, based on a foundation of a proprietary patented electrical Switched Reluctance motor technology, which develops, produces, and sells their patented electrical SR motor technology to B2B industrial partners within e.g. fitness, robotics, e-mobility and turbines (waste energy). 

All production of the patented electrical motor technology is outsourced to strategic production partners in Denmark.

The first products using the SR motor technology have been within the fitness & rehabilitation industry. 

ePower has worked with SR motors & drive systems for many years and has a highly matured R/D technology & production platform.

The SR motor technology is developed in corporation with Assistant Prof. Peter Omand Rasmussen, M.Sc.E.E., Ph.D., Aalborg University, Institute of Energy Technology.

ePower Motors is the successor of AWS Technology, who had 5 engineers working on the first ETFM SR motor platform from 2003 to 2008 in close cooperation with Aalborg University, and raised more than 4 mil EUR for developing SR motor technology platform into the first product launch on the market in 2007, the Synergy Indoor Bike.
